Meet the Team

Volunteers come to partake in helping the homeless population at specific sites: community meals and shower programs, or at their camps. The Mobile Care Unit (MCU) has a medical services side as well as a social services side. These teams of individuals come from all walks of life, giving back to their community.

Our medical team is comprised of one doctor and a number of medical student. Whether they are in medical school or have graduated and are in their residency, the medical team provides wound and preventative care. If further assessments are needed, the medical team is able to refer individuals to different clinics to meet with other general practitioners.

Our social services team is made of numerous volunteers. They are known to help individuals with various applications such as birth certificates, BC Housing forms, and Persons with Disabilities. They are a committed group of people who enjoy helping people in their moments of need and walking with them through their journeys.
